Day 121- Love this weather!

It was an absolutely gorgeous day today so we detoured to the park on the way home.  It makes for a hectic evening, but it's worth it to enjoy the great weather.  Vivienne got a new diaper from a friend today and I love it!  Woodland animals from one of my favorite diaper makers- Click a Doo.  We are so lucky to have such awesome, caring people in our lives.  It amazes me how many new words Jackson is learning everyday.  He's just growing up so fast.  It's hard to believe it's almost May, and I hate to wish time away, but I can't wait until summer and not having to have a hurried playground trip.  I only have 2 days left on my library loan, so it's a short one tonight so that I can get reading :)

Day 120- home sweet home

Today was full of laundry, school work, and cleaning.  Vivienne didn't wake up from her "nap" yesterday until 2:45 am I got her back to sleep an hour later and then she was up for the day at 6:15, Jackson was up at 6:30. Both kids fought naps and sleep today- this is why missing naps or making them way late is a super bad idea.  I hope they aren't too cranky when I wake them up in the morning!

Day 119- Choo choo

We took Jackson a train ride today at the Ramps and Rails festival. He had a great time and it was good to do something fun like that as a family.  It turned out to be a pretty nice day.  After we got home we put Jackson down for a late nap and he slept for almost 4 hours, so we are just now getting him to bed.  Vivienne is still asleep from her evening nap.  Apparently completely worn out from the day.  I guess this means I'm going to be worn out tomorrow- oh well, I'll try to sneak in a nap tomorrow afternoon.

Day 118- TGIF

I'm so excited for this weekend and rest!  We were busy this evening and didn't get many pictures, but we had a lot of laughs (though not from Vivienne yet.)  She was talking up a storm and Jackson was wired so I kept the camera up and safe.  Hope you all are going to get a relaxing weekend this weekend too!

Day 117- Togetherness

I changed up my routine a little to try and get Vivienne in bed earlier and it seemed to work.  Both kids were asleep in bed by 8:15.  I'm hoping to go early tonight because it didn't happen last night. So here are today's pictures:

Oh but a funny story- tonight at dinner I just got everyone sat down when he tries to inhale an entire slice of mango.  Well he of course gags and pukes up all of his goldfish right onto his plate.  I take it to clean the tray and plate up and he rescues his ketchup.  He must have felt fine because after I made him a new plate, he ate 3 mango slices (much more carefully), peas, mac n cheese, and 6 nuggets!
