Day 288- Trick or Treat Downtown

Thank goodness for Kristina!  I attempted downtown trick or treat tonight with both kids and Jackson decided it was a great time to assert his independence, frequently freezing in place or walking away from me or throwing down his bucket.  Through some divine intervention, Kristina sent me a text and then helped me get through the rest of downtown!  We are so thankful.  Then we had dinner together at Wenday's and now, finally everyone is bathed, resting, and things are all unpacked.  There aren't many pictures since it was me with the baby and stubborn, overtired Jackson.  I think we will spend tomorrow inside hiding from the rain and making sure we have everything we need for the upcoming snowstorm.

Day 287- Little Goblins

We got all dressed up for the Save A Lot "Fright Night" only to have it be done in 10 minutes.  Jackson enjoyed seeing the other kids and being a train conductor again, but I definitely thought there would be a lot more to do. Jackson posed for picture when we got home once I bribed him with candy from his treat bag.  Now it's time for progress reports and laundry :)
Waiting to go inside

Day 285- Indian summer

We got to play outside a little today and enjoy this beautiful weather.  I hope to make some more outside time as the weather continues to get warmer and sunnier, so I need to get a little work done tonight!  Here are today's pics :)
Who needs baby dolls?  Cars and horses are way cooler

Day 284- Getting spoiled

Today was a pretty good day.  Court went well, I didn't have to testify :) The pumpkin patch was a lot of fun and the kids really enjoyed themselves.  Then I found out that Hopscotch is going to let me use my gift certificate even though it expired.  When I went to pick up Jackson and Vivienne, I found the Brenda and Willis had spoiled Jackson with a new train set.  They told him they would look for a train for him when they went to Tennessee, but didn't find one they liked.  So they went and bought him one here just because.  We were really lucky to find such great people to watch our kids!

Tonight, Russell was home (on a Monday!) and he cooked, cleaned, and gave the kids their bath. I could get used to having a two parent household!

Not many pictures tonight because Miss Vivienne needed to cuddle with me instead of have any playtime, but I enjoy her cuddles, so no biggie.
This baby is infected by the teething monster!
Grrrrrrr take that Sally!
Hi Mom!
Mom, I'm playing with Brewster and Brewster's track- don't bother me!

Day 283- Pumpkin Patch

Vivienne is feeling much better today.  She went to bed last night at 8:00 and then slept until I woke her up at noon.  She's up playing now, refusing to go to sleep, but enjoying Hocus Pocus with Jackson and me.  We went to Teter Farm this afternoon and had a great time.  Jackson and Vivienne really enjoyed the corn and the goats.  I can't believe it's already almost Halloween!
 Silly kid
