Day 213- Sick Mama

My fever got worse overnight (and Jackson decided to keep me company on the couch from 1am-5am) and I decided to have Russell stay home and watch the kids so I could catch up on sleep and get better.  Finally, my temp is in the 99s (much better than the 103's from last night) so I'm hopefully that it'll completely break by morning and we can have fun!

Day 212- hanging around the house

I got a fever and chills early in the morning so we had a very low-key day. I was able to get in touch with Russell and have him to come in and watch the kids so I could try and fight off whatever this bug is. Here are some of the pictures.

Day 211- Pool, Garden, and Big Girl Room

We had a fun day weeding the garden, hanging out in the pool, hanging out in the house, and then Vivienne went to bed in her room tonight.  Jackson crashed out around 9:00 so I'm going to hurry in case he wakes up. If I'm not right there, he gets scared and it turns into a long night.
I love hanging out just the 2 of us in the mornings
This is what happens when you play in the garden, then play in the pool and repeat

Day 210- Catching up

We had a lazy day today recouping from yesterday's travel, unpacking and laundry.  Tomorrow we have some garden work to do and I need to head back to the classroom next week.  Vivienne is starting to eat a little.  She ate a whole Mum Mum today and a little bit of sweet potato. So she's making progress :) There aren't many pictures because it took me a bit to unpack the camera.
Mmmm banana flavored rice husk lol
Pretty pleased with herself, she finished the whole thing
Snack time, Charlie is sharing animal crackers with us too
Silly kids
She moved a couple of inches today lol
Silly cuddle baby- finger in one side, tongue out the other

Day 209- Traveling Home

After a good morning with Mamaw and Saba it was time to pack up and head home.  We stopped at a playground in Jackson, OH and had lunch and then stopped at the mall in Clarksburg for dinner. It looks as if Mr. Jackson will be joining us in our bed for a little bit until we get over his fear, which I now believe was caused by a thunderstorm.  So I guess we'll move Vivienne over sometime in the next couple of weeks and then work on Jackson.  Oh well, at least he's sleeping better now.
Wow- everyone is looking lol
Great picture, except Vivienne wanted to check out the bird feeder too
 Slide at the playground
It was hot out!
Finally sleeping

Day 208- Traintastic Day!

We had so much fun today and everyone is worn out!  After we finally got Jackson out of bed this morning and dressed, we headed up the EnterTrainment Junction- http://www.entertrainmentjunction.com/  Jackson had so much fun.  All I heard for hours was "Mom- train, Saba- choo choo, Mamaw- All aboard, Tickets please" and on and on.  He was totally in awe and wore himself ragged riding Thomas over and over, playing with trains, looking at trains, and talking about trains.  He was so tired by the end he had me wear him in the Ergo while my mom carried Vivienne around. Then he picked out some trains to take home (and some for his birthday), went to see Santa- who he was terrified of, and then headed out to lunch.  He ate his whole meal and passed out in the car on the way to Ikea.  I've been wanting to go to Ikea forever (thanks pinterest) and so I loaded him in the Ergo while he slept through the store.  However, Miss Vivienne got too tired and poor George took him and entertained him while Vivienne took her spot back.
After we relaxed a bit at home we had a delicious dinner and put Vivienne to bed (poor lady was so tired!).  Then George, Jackson and I headed to Sweet Frog.  That kid was in Heaven.  He was stealing toppings off of mine and ate about 2/3 of his.  So now it's bed time for Jackson and a great last day with Mamaw and Saba!  We were all so lucky to be spoiled this week and it's going to be hard to leave, but we do miss Joe and Bernie and maybe Dada.

I'll update with captions in the morning- but it's way too late tonight!
