Day 264- Night at the festival

The weather was perfect so we decided to try and take Jackson down to check out the rides.  We thought he might ride one or two and last an hour, but we finally dragged him away after 2 1/2 hours of riding and laughing.  He was much braver than he was in June and rode by himself and had a blast.  Vivienne had fun watching all the lights and people.  She fell asleep for a nap around 8 and was an absolute angel in the Ergo. We had such a fun night.  I'm so glad Jackson won that pass because otherwise we probably would have never had him out there.
In the end his favorite rides were the elephant, the bears, and the train.  He laughed the whole way through the fish ride, but it went pretty fast and once in a while was enough for him. He even rode the ferris wheel with Dad and had a blast.  Now we need to rest up for a big weekend of festival fun!
The beginning of the ride marathon
In the middle of the ride he decided to count to thirteen,
one count each time the horse bounced
Elephants - these went high but he had a great time
 Driving the caboose
Picked up some friends along the way
 He really enjoyed the rockets
 Flying high
 "I want to ride truck"
 Picked this fish by color
He was throwing his head back and laughing
 "Blast Off" (Little Einsteins reference)
Blast off again on the bears - he rode this one six times

We only talked him into riding the boats by telling him
he could ride in the green one
 Back for another round
For some reason he would keep shielding his eyes with
his hands and then take them away to see
 Happy baby
 Getting some attention from Mama
Reigning him in - he didn't like to wait much
 Taking a snooze
Finally starting to show signs of fatigue
 Loungin' in the feesh
 Riding the green bear
His thumb and tongue are magnetized sometimes
While in this car, there was a kid in a blue bear behind
him.  The boy kept hitting the bear on the "noggin".
He looks at the boy and tells him,
"Be nice to blue bear kid."
 Yellow Bear
Yet another ride on Green Elephant
 Having a ball
One last ride on the train
 Mr. Tired Conductor
Took a bit of guts to ride the big wheel
At the top when we'd start over the other side,
Jackson would start laughing, and I had him
saying "Yee-haw!"
